Generally emergency repairs will fall under one of the following catagories:

Gas leaks
Electricity failure
Fire
Major water leaking
Unsafe external structure
Blocked drain/W.C. pan
Total heating failure in winter if you are elderly or disabled
Total loss of water supply

Repairs that fall under one of these categories will be ordered to be carried out within 24 hours. If the defect cannot be repaired during this time it will be made safe until a repair is possible.
